Journey to Bethlehem

The Churches of  Coal Aston, Holmesdale and Snapehill invite you to walk in a torchlight walk through the Christmas Story on Christmas Eve.

Experience what it was like for shepherds in the fields with their sheep, seeing the angels and hearing their joyful song proclaiming the birth of Jesus.

What it was like for Mary and Joseph and the donkey to be turned away from the Inn, and finally join Mary and Joseph as they celebrate the birth of Jesus in a stable.

The event starts at 5pm on Jubilee fields, off Green Lane. We do expect to be joined by a donkey and some sheep. It finishes at the same place about 90 mins later. Come dressed warmly, in character if you wish. Free glow sticks for children.
