This is the Celtic word for Soul Friend. We hope you will rediscover the simple worship and spirituality to be found in music, prayer, drama, art, craft and dance, both contemporary and ancient.
Our Christian traditions are greatly under threat in this country. We hope that whether you were once a BB member, in Sunday school, a regular worshiper, or just seeking to explore the Christian Faith you will come to this very informal service. Whether you came last week, last month, last year, or never you will be very welcome Our next service is on:Sunday 10th January 2010 9.30am-10.15am Followed by refreshments Songs to sing, and drama to make you think craft to tell the message, this month we are on a : Advent, The Second Coming

This is our monthly alternative worship service for all ages every second Sunday of the month at 9.30am. Anamchara is Celtic for Soul Friend. Friends and friendship are a central part of Celtic Christianity, along with the celebration of all Gods creation. All is seen as of God except evil. Over the past two years it has developed and young and old have made it very popular. Many old friends have reconected with our church and new friends also.It has become a blessing to us all. It explores different types of Worship, and the basics of our faith, involving prayer and meditation, music both ancient and modern, dance, arts craft and drama, and how we relate with one another and our environment. It is simple in nature. Children will be welcome, and will be expected to be welcomed. The service will last around 45 minutes and will be followed by refreshments and a chat. |
